In a bizarre crossover event that breaks usual forecasts, the game developer has announced an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Revealed
According to the official announcement, "A mysterious meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where hints of banned practices and terrifying metamorphoses reverberate through the shadows." The plot features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a hidden sect.
The adventure focuses on "strange tests and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Transformations
The preview features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser ends with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Prizes and Additional Features
Players who successfully complete the mission will obtain an exclusive katana alongside numerous artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

Latest Free Story Addition
This update also brings the game's third free story addition, titled "The Enigma."
