Homeowners witnessed substantial frozen pellets as large as 7 centimeters in some areas. The Bureau of Meteorology verified that multiple regions across Queensland had been affected by substantial ice precipitation.

Rescue organizations received nearly 600 requests for assistance across the region, mostly for property damage but also for fallen timber and inundation.
